Sculpting With Concrete

The Creston Valley Arts Council and the Public Art Connection have joined forces in presenting a Master Sculpture class for artists using concrete to create Public Art.

Description: Join us for a four-day course of instruction on how to use concrete as a medium for Art and Sculpture projects.

The format of this class will be instructor discussion and demonstration followed by “hands on” student application for each segment of the course. The course will follow a curriculum that builds from basic to advanced techniques. The students will have the opportunity to create (and take home) up to four small projects created during the course. The primary focus is for the student to leave with the knowledge required to use concrete as a medium for sculpting an casting art.

  • Time: May 10 to May 13, 9 to 3 pm
  • Where: Legend Rock Studio, Bay #6 1204 NW Blvd, Creston BC.
  • Instructor: Bart Bjorkman
  • Class limit: 6 people
  • Cost: $300.00. (includes $100.00 non refundable material fee) Payment due April 18, 2019. Register early!
